Promote and Rebuild
Healthy Living Soil
Keeping soils covered with diverse living plants is key to building healthy soils and microbial communities necessary to regenerate farm ecosystems. As a result, we use no-till practices to plant cover crops right into our perennial pastures to build plant diversity and provide cool season forages for our animals.

Raise Healthy/Strong
Plants and Animals
Encouraging the growth of microbial life is one of the most crucial parts of raising healthy plants and animals. Planting living roots in the soil feeds the soil's microbial life. That in turn feeds essential nutrients to the plants, ensuring that our fields are never bare. We use cool season cover crops planted into perennial warm season pastures to keep living roots in the soil year round. This allows us to rotationally graze our animals non-stop, ensuring they are fed the most nutritious diet possible. Our soil then further benefits from the animal "doing their business" before moving onto fresh pasture.

Improve Water Cycling and
Retention in Our Soil
Grazing various types of livestock on our pastures adds valuable nutrients to the soil, keeping the plants in a healthy state and eliminating the need for fertilizers. Doing so also builds life and organic matter in the soil, which then captures large amounts of carbon, allowing rainwater to infiltrate and be retained in the soil. This reduces runoff from our farm, retaining the valuable resources needed in our ecosystem.

Encourage and Promote Diversity
in Our Ecosystem
Diversity is an essential component in regenerating farm ecosystems and building healthy soils that retain water and nutrients on the land. Planting diverse cover crops, integrating farm animals and rotational grazing them, supporting wildlife and actively restricting the use of chemicals all push towards a thriving ecosystem that includes you and me. We live healthy lives when we interact in an ecosystem that is good. Our bodies work better when our source of food is good.
About Our Family
We are a Christians believing in the Trinity (Father, Son & Holy Spirit).
We believe it is God's fingerprints, as Designer, that are found over the entirety of creation.

What makes pasture raised proteins different?
Maturity
Pasture raised animals are raised to maturity before processing in order render the healthiest meat possible
Age
Pasture raised animals take longer to put on fat, which means the animals are older when they are processed
Exercise
Pasture raised animals receive more exercise in their daily routine, subsequently causing their muscle fiber to be tougher
Diet
Pasture raised animals have a well-rounded diet rather than a high carb diet, producing lean and nutrient dense protein

Regenerative Mission
Journey Into Regeneration
You play a vital role in the regeneration of our communities, environment and overall health. Grow a garden, plant a tree, house a chicken, start a homestead, farm a thousand acres or simply support regenerative produces with your purchases. Together we can grow a better future!
Pasture Raised
Our animals are primarily raised on pasture, which means our cattle's main source of protein and nutrients is coming from a clean source.
Hormone Free
We raise genetically strong animals and do not use hormones to increase their muscle mass. Good genetics makes it possible to raise grass-fed animals.
Pesticide, Herbicide & Fungicide Free
Our pastureland increasingly produces more nutrients and protein as we restrict the use of chemicals that kill all forms of life found in, on and above our soil.
Rotationally Grazed
We rotationally graze our animals every day, both for the benefit of the animal and the soil. Fresh pasture eliminates the need for dewormers.
Antibiotic Free
Keeping our animals on a clean source of food, we have no need to treat them with antibiotics. We cull genetically weak animals from our herd/flocks.
Supplemental Non-GMO Grains
Our birds are raised on pasture and we use Non-GMO grains as supplement, achieving a well rounded diet. Our cattle is finished on Non-GMO grains two weeks prior to processing.

Fingerprint Farms’ Regenerative Agriculture Mission
At Fingerprint Farms we strive to promote and rebuild healthy, living soil; raise healthy strong plants and animals; improve water cycling and retention in the soil; encourage and promote diversity in the animals, plants, insects and microbes in, on and above our farmlands; and produce clean nutrient dense food for our community.
What Is Regenerative Agriculture
There is no precise definition, but we strive to take a holistic approach to farm management.
A. We see the farm as an interconnected web of life that transmits information to all its parts when even a single strand is touched.
i. Sunshine powers the system
ii. Plants convert sunshine into food for themselves, microbes, animals and insects.
iii. Microbes, animals and insects tend the plants, disturb the soil, and deliver nutrients to the plants and each other.
B. We believe God allows us to see, understand and steward this system, and that each strand is like a fingerprint he left so we can align our management with his creation.
i. Our job as farm managers is to seek to understand this system
ii. to mimic nature as closely as possible
iii. while producing food for our community.
C. If we are successful, we can produce nutrient dense food for our community, while we work to restore the system so it can support and enhance life on and off the farm.
D. Like the microbes, animals, insects, plants, and sun are connected to each other on the farm, the strands of your life’s web and a farmer’s are connected. By seeking out and supporting regenerative farming operations you drive the adoption of regenerative practices and improvements to the ecosystem and your community.
How We Regeneratively Manage Our Farm
While humans have only begun to scratch the surface of understanding how God’s Creation functions, on our farm we follow in the footsteps of generations of others who’s testing, observation, and practice have revealed fingerprints that help us steward the strands of our life’s web.
A. We encourage diversity in the soil, plant, insect and animal life on our farm.
B. We move our animals frequently like free roaming herds and flocks moved across the land before people intervened.
1. Grazing clean, rested pasture means healthier animals, plants, insects and microbes.
2. It also means, happier, humanely managed animals raised in as close to a natural state as possible.
C. Happier and healthier farm life means reducing or eliminating the need for chemical or mechanical interventions to support food production.
1. We don’t use fertilizers, pesticide, fungicides, herbicides, antibiotics, hormones, vaccinations, wormers, plowing or burning on our farm.
2. Eliminating chemical and mechanical interventions allows farms to produce clean and nutrient dense foods that sustain and regenerate life in local communities.

MAKE THE DIFFERENCE
GOOD FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
Our overarching goal is to improve the ecosystem of the lands that we farm, by supporting life in, on and above the soil. Diversity of life in on and above the soil creates an environment where we don't need to use chemicals that harm life on our farm, or the health of people consuming our products.
GOOD FOR THE ANIMALS
Sunlight powers life on our farm. Plants convert sunlight to biomass and sugars that feed the animals, insects, and microorganisms in, on and above the land. Diversity of farm animals, wildlife, insects, and soil microbes balance the system out. And thoughtful management practices regenerate diversity and a thriving ecosystem.
GOOD FOR THE BODY
BECAUSE OF ECOSYSTEM DEGRADATION, THE VAST MAJORITY OF PEOPLE HAVE NEVER SEEN A TRULY HEALTHY PLANT, MUCH LESS CONSUMED FOOD PRODUCED IN A FULLY FUNCTIONING ECOSYSTEM. WHILE WE ARE NOT THERE YET, WE GET CLOSER EVERY YEAR. AND WE PROUDLY SHARE THE BOUNTY WE PRODUCE WITH OUR FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS.
SUPPORT FOR THE COMMUNITY
WHILE EVERYONE CAN'T LIVE ON A FARM AND PRODUCE HEALTHY FOOD TO FEED PEOPLE WHO STRUGGLE WITH FOOD INSECURITY, THROUGH YOUR PURCHASES, YOU HELP US DO IT. FINGERPRINT FARMS PROUDLY SUPPORTS LOCAL FOOD CHARITIES IN OUR COMMUNITY BY DONATING PRODUCTS RAISED ON OUR FARM SO STRUGGLING FAMILIES CAN HAVE GOOD FOOD TOO.

INTEGRATING ANIMALS INTO THE FARM
Grazing various types of livestock on our pastures adds valuable nutrients to the soil, keeps the plants in a healthy state, and eliminates the need for fertilizers. Doing so also builds life and organic matter in the soil, which then captures large amounts of carbon and allows rainwater to infiltrate and be retained in the soil reducing runoff from our farm, retaining these valuable resources in our ecosystem.
INCREASED PLANT, ANIMAL, INSECT, AND MICROBIAL DIVERSITY
Diversity is an essential component in regenerating farm ecosystems and building healthy soils that retain water and nutrients on the land.
MINIMIZING SOIL DISTURBANCES/ SOIL COVERAGE
Keeping soils covered with diverse living plants is key to building healthy soils and microbial communities necessary to regenerate farm ecosystems. As a result, we use no-till practices to plant cover crops right into our perennial pastures to build plant diversity and provide cool season forages for our animals.
KEEPING LIVING ROOTS IN THE SOIL
Having living roots in the soil feeds soil microbial life that in turn feed essential nutrients to the plants, which then ensures that fields are never bare. We use cool season cover crops planted into perennial warm season pastures to keep living roots in the soil year round.
